Blessing Day

This past Sunday (10.22.2012) we were able to bless Lexie in church. It was the perfect weekend because my sister Lindsey (the only sister who doesn't live in Arizona) and her family were here from Utah, and Jake's parents were able to fly in from Idaho. It was fun to have his parents here for the weekend, but I felt so bad because Jake woke up on Friday morning with a temp of 101 and was pretty miserable all weekend, so I did my best to entertain them with a month old baby! The blessing was amazing and Jake did such a great job, definitely a neat experience to hear your husband bless your first born baby. Afterwards we all headed over to my grandmas and had a huge lunch, visited with each other, and played some games. We were sad that Jake's siblings couldn't be here and can't wait to see them at Christmas!
