First Timer

I knew being here in Idaho for the past month with no husband and waiting very impatiently for a baby.. I needed a project. So I decided to try my very first sewing project and make a blanket for this baby girl coming (in 6 days.. but who's counting). I found a quick easy tutorial on some website I found.. but I definitely could not have done it without Jake's mom because I have never sewn anything before in my life! Here are some progression pics of this fun little project and it turned out way cute and I can't wait for her to use it!!

 Here is the finished product!! It is one of those rag looking type blankets so one type has the raggy look to it and the other side doesn't... not best quality pics but I am proud of it!!

Rexburg Baby Shower

Not only did I get one fabulous baby shower... but I got to  have TWO of them! I am up in Rexburg until this little baby comes out and my wonderful in laws threw me a great baby shower up here. This little girl seriously has a bigger wardrobe than me, and way cuter!

                                  There is definitely a baby in there!! It won't stop growing....

 My friend Ashlie made a cute diaper cake and she even dropped it off that morning because she couldn't make it during the shower! SO nice!

 I completely forgot to take any picture (thanks abby for the ones above!), but my MIL Konda made a super cute watermelon buggie that was full of fruit during the shower.

 This was also later that day after the shower was over, but we had cute tissue paper pom poms hanging around.

There was such a good turn out and I was so grateful that everyone came!! It was a fun day!
