Jake and I have always talked about wanting to float the river.... so we finally did it! We invited his friend Jesse ( a boy he works with and they served in the same mission) and his wife and got some giant tubes from their boss and we were on our way! Jake had floated this river before with his ward a couple of years ago.. and said it took about an hour and a half to two hours to float. Well.. we went around the circle once.. and it literally felt like we were floating for maybe 30 min. So we walked back to the beginning and did it again! Come to find out it was actually about 45-an hour one loop around but it felt so short the first time! The water was FREEZING! Arizona rivers do not get that cold... ever. haha but the second time we went it actually felt pretty good and it was a hot day! (We have sunburns to show for that) Then when we were done we finished our adventure day with some lunch at Costa Vida! Such a fun day!
