Happy Birthday!

In my ward I am the Relief Society Activities coordinator... or something like that. Basically head of the Relief Society Activities! On March 17 Relief Society turned 170!! So we knew we had to celebrate, not only Relief Society's birthday, but we had a big celebration for ourselves as well! Because it wouldn't be Relief Society without all the sisters in the church! We made a huge dinner that consisted of Cafe Rio Salad with all the fixings, tons of cupcakes and goodies for dessert, we even had a little "candy bar" for all the girls to stock up on candy and take home! We had such a great turn out and I definitely could not have pulled this off without alllllll the help I had! (photo credit to Kelsi! I forgot to take any pictures!)

Lime

Today I am 12 weeks!! Not going to lie it hasn't gone by super fast, but hopefully this pregnancy starts to speed up! Ever since I hit week 8 I have been pretty sick, if I let myself get the least bit hungry it is all over. BUT I am slowly starting to get over that and have been feeling pretty good. Nights I still feel pretty nauseous, but nothing a zofran can't get rid of. My official due date is Sept. 24 (seems soooo far away!!) and at 12 weeks my baby is the size of a lime! It blows my mind that there is an actual living thing in my stomach right now.... so crazy! Along with graduation (in 3-4 weeks!!) and job searching our lives have been so busy but we are loving this moment in our life right now and can't wait for the new things to come!

My sister told me that she regrets not taking pics to see how her belly has grown, so I am starting now! I already feel huge and bloated... haha but I can't wait to get a big baby bump!!

First Christmas

This Christmas we went down to the warm state of Arizona to be with the Lewis family! The week was spent with great weather, good food, great family, friends and even more! I love pictures, so this blog post is a picture overload! Enjoy!

We got there the day before my dad's birthday so we were able to celebrate with him!

My grandma and grandpas annual Christmas morning breakfast! We actually did this on Christmas eve, but this picture is just of all the GREAT grand kids! Our family is growing so fast!

For the night of Christmas Eve we have a Mexican Fiesta! This year we decided to do an ugly sweater contest, and this was a sweater my grandma was wearing all day that my mom took a picture of... haha

 Gngerbread Houses!

Nativity! Such cute Mary and Joseph's!
I was a Shepard and Jake represented the 3 wise men!
 Mrs. Clause always brings pajamas!

 It's not a fiesta without a pinata!

This was Christmas morning, and Jake surprised me with an iPhone!! I was SHOCKED!

The weather was GREAT so Jake went golfing with his friend Brandon who lives in AZ!

Jake said this is his favorite part about AZ, BAHAMA BUCKS, it is the BEST shaved ice place ever!

We went four wheeling with my family and it was so fun!

One night we went to a Christmas party over at my friend Shelby's house. It was so fun to see everyone!

 Mesa Temple Lights

This was back in Rexburg and we got to open some more gifts from all the Fullmers!

It was a great first Christmas!

Giving lots of Thanks

It's been a lonely week here at the Fullmer Residence. Jake left Sunday night to Dallas Texas! He went to some career fair where all the major and minor league baseball teams were there posting jobs , and he basically met a lot of famous baseball people so he was in heaven! (The baseball winter meetings were being held at the same hotel so he was even on ESPN!) I just realized that I never posted about Thanksgiving! We made the drive with Jake's parents up to Spokane, Washington (my first time in Washington!). Jake's older sister Carly lives there with her family, and his youngest sister Tiara lives about an hour and a half away from Spokane. The week consisted of working out and swimming at the YMCA, making a yummy Thanksgiving feast (Jake's sisters did most of the work, they were great chefs!), going on our own little 'Turkey Trot' (more like a turkey walk), decorating gingerbread houses and playing with all of her cute kids. The weather was not too bad and overall it was a great first Thanksgiving as the Fullmer's!

(This is Carly's brand new baby! They blessed her the week we were there!)

A name and a story

Last week during Sunday school the couple that was teaching our class was talking about the day they got married and how they try to think back about what their sealer said so they can remember how special the day was for them. I turned to Jake and told him I don't really remember anything our sealer said to us..... and neither did he. So I didn't feel so bad. It was just an overwhelming, happy day that I really did try to listen, but I was so jittery I can't remember any of it! But anyone that was in that room with us.. will remember at least one thing... the name sumner. Yes you read that right. sumner.... not summer. It all started when we introduced ourselves to the sealer and he was making sure he got our names right and when he said mine it sounded close enough to Summer that I let it slide, because he was old, so I just thought it was how he talked. We walk into the beautiful room surrounded by our family members and the day I have dreamed about started going by so fast! Throughout his inspirational words, he would call us by name, and when he said my name he wasn't saying SUMMER, but SUMNER. The first couple times we let it slide, but after the 3rd or 4th time I looked around to see if people were noticing and I could see the smiles around the room knowing that he was saying it wrong. When it was time to be sealed together forever.. I was worried that we were going to be Jake and Sumner Fullmer for the rest of our lives! for ETERNITY! He started speaking and I guess my mom pointed to my dad and mouthed to him "You better tell him!" My Dad stopped the sealer, told him it was pronounced SUMMER... and we went on our way being  Jake and Summer Fullmer. It will definitely be a memory we will always remember.. and not a DAY has gone by since we have gotten married that Jake hasn't called me Sumner.

Good thing I love him too much.

11.11.11

Not only was it the coolest date ever, but it was also Jake's Birthday! He turned the big 2-6!! Our day consisted of waking up and having a yummy homemade breakfast, then we watched Jake's moms daycare all day! She has the easiest kids that come so it was a fun day. After all the kids left Jake, me and his Dad drove down to Idaho Falls to pick up Jake's mom at her craft fair that she runs for a whole week! It's huge and so many cute things! After we checked out some cute things, we all went over to Garcia's and had a yummy birthday dinner. Jake told me I wasn't allowed to tell the people it was his birthday because he didn't want them to sing to him.... but the first thing Jake's mom did was tell our waitress it was his birthday! I loved it! haha but she said they didn't have to sing but he still got his free dessert out of it. After we ate yummy food we went back to Rexburg and met up with Alison and Treagan and we all went bowling. Then we went back to the house and ate the yummy ice cream cake I made (my first ice cream cake I have ever made) and sang happy birthday. It was such a fun day and we made sure to make our wish at 11:11 on 11.11.11
Presents! (he had to get a pink bag.... haha it's all I had!)

It's nothing special... but I was proud of the fact that I actually made an ice cream cake!

It's a tradition in his family that if it's your birthday you get to light the candles! He also told me that he is a recovering pyro..... so I'm glad this situation didn't get out of hand! :)

Happy Birthday Jakey!! I love you so much!!
